Temple Tours

During our weekly open and visiting hours, there are volunteers available to guide you through a tour of the Temple, helping to explain the meaning of the Temple, the shrine, and all the ornate decorations in and outside of the Temple.  During your time in the Temple, you are welcome to take as many photos as you would like and ask questions, too!  If you wish you can sit for a short while for some personal meditation.

Everyone Welcome!

Our Sunday Morning class is our most popular class for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. It’s a great introduction to Buddhist practice and concepts. You will learn methods for letting go of painful states of mind and increasing your inner peace and happiness in daily life. Everyone welcome!

There are no upcoming events at this time.

If we train in meditation our mind will become more and more peaceful, and we will experience a purer and purer form of happiness.”

book a group tour

We welcome schools, organizations and large groups to book a private tour of the temple. During a typical group visit, you will receive an explanation of the imagery and symbolism in the temple, get practical short teaching on meditation and its benefits, and be guided in a simple 15-minute breathing meditation to allow you the chance to experience some relaxation and inner peace. There will also be a brief talk on basic Buddhist views and time for Q&A to allow for any questions that may have come up. Group visits average one hour in length.

This temple was built under the guidance of a fully accomplished meditation master
— Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche — and is dedicated to world peace.
