Food for Thought

Join us for a special night out with relaxing guided meditation followed by a delicious home-cooked vegetarian meal. The menu can be adapted for vegan/gluten free and will include:

  • Appetizers

  • Warm mulled cider

  • Butternut squash lasagna

  • Green salad

  • Pumpkin cheesecake for dessert

The evening will begin with non-alcoholic drinks and appetizers followed by a simple, guided meditation to bring a sense of inner peace at the end of a busy week. Put the stress and tension of daily life behind you and enjoy an evening of relaxation with a tasty, home-cooked, vegetarian meal at International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon.

Cost: $20 for adults; $10 for kids

 

EVENING SCHEDULE

 

6 – 7 pm: Welcome with a Non-alcoholic drinks and appetizers in the Dining Room

7 – 7:20 pm: Meditation in the Kadampa Temple for World Peace

7:30 – 9 pm: Autumn-inspired meal in the Dining Room

Please register in advance for this event. 

Consider staying overnight by booking a room accommodation and attend our Rest and Reflect meditation sessions on Saturday, Nov 4.
